Stage 2 Watering Restrictions

Modified Stage 2 Water Restrictions – Effective May 4
The District of Lake Country has reinforced Modified Stage 2 water restrictions due to below-average snowpack levels—approximately 65% of normal—and concerns that Beaver Lake and Oyama Lake reservoirs may not fully replenish this year.
Although Alto Utilities operates on a groundwater source, our source is directly linked to the Beaver Lake system used by the District of Lake Country. For this reason, Alto Utilities supports these conservation measures and asks all customers to follow the Stage 2 restrictions outlined below.
- Watering permitted only twice per week.
- Even numbered addresses may only water on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
- Odd numbered addresses may only water on Sundays and Wednesdays.
- Automated irrigation systems should operate only between 12:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
- Filling pools, hot tubs, and daily watering of household gardens used for food is still permitted.
Working Together to Protect Our Water Supply
Early conservation helps reduce peak demand and lowers the risk of stricter restrictions later in the summer. Thank you for doing your part to conserve water.
